| Joe Lin
Often complimented for being a fun, musical, and creative social dancer, Joe has been swing dancing rabidly since 2002 in various cities and draws his stylistic influences from a variety of sources. He believes that for a social dancer, even more important than perfecting steps is the ability to improvise with any partner and the ability to connect on a deeper level with the music. His love of music from vintage jazz and traditional blues to R&B and funk has led him to DJ at major swing events in Waterloo, Ottawa, and Montreal. He is currently (still pretending to be) a psychology student at UW. And no, he cannot read your mind… yet.

| Alexandra Jakubowski
Alexandra started dancing almost as soon as she could walk as a member of the Kujawiacy Polish Song and Dance Ensemble in Kitchener. As a Polish folk dancer she performed at various venues around Canada and the United States, and even performed at the XIV International Polish Folk Dancing Festival in Rzeszow, Poland. One fateful day, her teachers decided to mix things up and teach their students swing dancing instead! She’s been hooked ever since! As an avid social dancer she recommends it to anyone who wants to learn new moves, meet new people and above all have fun!
